Calasparra D.O. Bomba Rice
Short grain paella rice. Calasparra (located in Murcia) is a D.O. region of Spain, meaning that it meets very strict quality and production standards. Bomba rice, an ancient varietal, is treasured throughout Spain. It can absorb up to three times its volume in liquid (making it ideal for paella) and remains firm. It will not overcook as easily as other types of Valencia rice. We highly recommend this rice for making paella.
