Sliced Ibérico Ham. The pigs used for Fermín's jamón ibérico are a special breed, indigenous to Spain. These pigs are bred and raised in Spain and are fed a diet of high-quality grain. Fermín's jamón ibérico is a rich ruby color with beautiful marbling. There is also an abundance of flavor; everything about this meat will feel rich, silky, and smooth. Serve the jamón ibérico on its own with an effervescent glass of cava or a Manzanilla fino sherry to truly savor all of the flavors.
Fermín was the first company to bring the beloved jamón ibérico to the US in 2007. The company headquarters are located in La Alberca, one of the oldest rural villages of Spain and famous for its meats, just outside of Salamanca. The company was founded by the Martín family in 1956 and is a family-run business to this day.
